Since 2002, delegates ages 13-18 from around the world have been exposed to diverse ideas, cultures, and people while having fun at People to People International's Global Youth Forum (GYF). The four night/five day program equips students with the tools and inspiration necessary to foster cross-cultural learning, develop leadership skills, connect with like-minded peers, and make a difference at the local and global levels. This year's curriculum is based on the theme Learn to Serve, Serve to Learn, which has more than 10 hours of educational workshops, six hours of community service work, as well as cultural and social activities.

Why Participate?

  • Learn how to lead thoughtful, sustainable service projects
  • Support and increase your interest in international relations
  • Be empowered to educate your community on global issues
  • Gain an impressive addition to your college application
  • Connect with like-minded students from around the world
  • Learn from experts of leading international organizations
  • Experience multiple service projects you can carry out in your own community
  • Identify community needs and how to form partnerships
  • Explore the vibrant culture of Kansas City
  • Grow in your understanding of other places and cultures with the multinational delegation

A preview of the planned activities can be found on the Program at a Glance.  Become part of this distinguished group of extraordinary students by registering today! View welcome message from the Mayor of Kansas City, Sly James.
