Do you think you have the power to change the world? WE DO.
Let us show you how at the 2012 Global Youth Forum.

Benjamin Franklin once said, "The noblest question in the world is, 'What good may I do in it?'" At the 2012 Global Youth Forum (GYF), we are going to help you answer that question. Through speakers, activities, workshops, and hands-on projects, you will learn what humanitarianism is, why it is needed, and return home equipped to make a difference locally and globally. Don't underestimate the impact you can have on the world!

GYF Highlights include:

  • Keynote address by PTPI's President and CEO, Mary Jean Eisenhower
  • Service projects in the Chicago metro area
  • Interactive Culture 101 workshops, hosted by your peers from around the globe
  • Seeing the best of Chicago through a city scavenger hunt
  • Interactive, engaging small group sessions exploring elements essential to a sustainable and successful humanitarian project
  • Reunite and meet with friends from around the world
  • Earn 20 community service hours

The Basics:

Since 2002, delegates ages 13-18 from around the world have been exposed to a diverse group of ideas, cultures, and people while having fun at the Global Youth Forum. Students leave the GYF equipped with the tools and inspiration necessary to promote peace, tolerance, and understanding at the local and global levels. Become part of this distinguished group of change-makers by registering today. Check out photos from last year's GYF on Facebook.

Students who will be 13-18 years old and enrolled in middle school, high school, or home school during the GYF dates will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Students are urged to REGISTER TODAY, as registrations will likely exceed available space. Upon registration, delegates will receive a confirmation notice via e-mail, along with other vital information.
