Q:  What is a Chapter?
A:  Chapters are volunteer organizations consisting of at least 10 people. Chapters are the root of People to People International since they actualize the idea of increasing international understanding and education at the local level.

Q:  Who belongs to PTPI Chapters?
A:  Students, professionals, families, dignitaries -- people from all walks of life belong to PTPI Chapters. Members vary from chapter to chapter, but what they do have in common is a commitment to advancing international understanding and friendship through the exchange of ideas and experiences. Currently the Chapter Network includes 38 countries.

Q:  What do Chapters do?
A:  Chapters participate in various programs depending on the interest of the university chapter members. PTPI World Headquarters are flexible with program ideas. The only request we have is that the project has either an international humanitarian, educational or cultural component.

Q:  How do I find out if there is a Chapter in my area?
A:  Consult the online Chapter Search.

Q:  What costs are involved?
A:  Chapter Dues are $20.00 per Young Generation member (ages 18 -25).

Q:  What does a Chapter Officer do?
A:  The three basic ingredients to a successful chapter are leadership, programs and membership. Nothing effective will happen without officers who lead and provide membership with programs and activities through which they can realize their own goals and aspirations.
