Thousands Mobilized for
Global Youth Service Day

Since 2005, PTPI has been a member of the coordinating committee of Global Youth Service Day, an annual event that engages youth worldwide in service work. For GYSD 2010, PTPI's Student Department worked hard to help 2,810 PTPI student members and supporters in 19 countries carry out 61 projects in their communities. As a result, Youth Service America, the organization that administers the event, granted PTPI a Wofford Award . Thank you to Meg Carter of PTPI's Washington, D.C. Chapter for accepting the award on PTPI's behalf at the presentation, April 22.
