FEBRUARY 2010 | Welcome to People to People International's monthly e-newsletter.
On Track is the simple way to stay on top of everything happening with PTPI. Be inspired by the initiatives of our global membership and learn about opportunities to advance international understanding and friendship in your community and abroad.

Thanks to You

The compassion in our members' hearts shows with the contributions you sent to match PTPI's gift from the International Friendship Fund to aid the people of Haiti. Checks of $1,780 USD and $500 USD, made possible by your generosity, were sent to Partners in Health on February 5 and 22, respectively. Thank you for your support to help the thousands affected by the earthquake in Haiti.

You can read about PTPI members who contributed to the IFF for Haiti and the work of Partners in Health on the PTPI Blog.

If you would like to give to the IFF, click here. Please mention your gift is for Haiti.

A Look Back in Time
People to People International has strived to enhance friendship and understanding among the world's people for more than 50 years. We thought you might like to know how it all started at U.S. President Eisenhower's 1956 White House Press Conference, which gathered notable business and civic leaders to bring his vision to life. »Read the article about PTPI's beginnings.

Today
We want to know why you support PTPI's mission. Thoughts from our global membership will be shared in this year's issue of People magazine.

Please tell us: Why do you believe PTPI's mission is still important today? And what do you or your community gain from your involvement with PTPI? Email your response to ptpipublications@ptpi.org.
