2011 Brings a New Chapter in Oklahoma City

People to People International Announces Formation of New Community Chapter

Kansas City, MO USA - People to People International (PTPI) is proud to announce the newest addition to its expanding community chapter network.   

PTPI’s Oklahoma City, Oklahoma Chapter was chartered on January 5, 2011.  Mark “Joe” Stansberry will serve as chapter president and Don Drew will serve as vice president. 

PTPI Community Chapters are community-based volunteer organizations which work to increase international understanding and education on a local level.  Chapters participate in a wide variety of humanitarian and educational initiatives.  Examples of PTPI chapter activities include: hosting international visitors, sponsoring internationally-themed community events and supporting humanitarian programs such as PTPI’s Global Landmine Initiative.  The end result is a group of community leaders that have increased global awareness and that also work to make a positive difference in the world.
