PTPI Charters New Community Chapter in Tashkent, Uzbekistan
Kansas City, MO USA - People to People International (PTPI) is proud to announce the newest additions to its expanding community chapter network.
People to People International (PTPI) is proud to announce the newest addition to its expanding community chapter network. PTPI’s Tashkent, Uzbekistan Chapter was chartered on November 23, 2010. Tatyana Yun will serve as chapter president and Ulugbek Sakhipov will serve as vice president.
PTPI Community Chapters are community-based volunteer organizations which work to increase international understanding and education on a local level. Chapters participate in a wide variety of humanitarian and educational initiatives. Examples of PTPI chapter activities include: hosting international visitors, sponsoring internationally-themed community events and supporting humanitarian programs such as PTPI’s Global Landmine Initiative. The end result is a group of community leaders that have increased global awareness and that also work to make a positive difference in the world.
There are currently more than 300 PTPI chapters worldwide with thousands of members committed to creating Peace through Understanding. PTPI always welcomes new members to its chapter network!
