PTPI charters new Student Chapter in Smethport, Pennsylvania!

Kansas City, MO USA - People to People International (PTPI) is proud to announce the newest addition to its expanding chapter network.

PTPI’s Smethport, Pennsylvania Student Chapter was chartered on October 11, 2010. Stephen McFall will serve as chapter president and Pamela McFall will serve as chapter advisor. The Smethport, Pennsylvania Student Chapter has many upcoming projects. Student Chapter members plan to learn about Turkey, participate in PTPI's Sister Chapter Program and volunteer at a local 4-H center.

PTPI Student Chapters are year-round, membership-based clubs that give students an opportunity to learn leadership skills, team building and personal accountability as well as promote peace and understanding in their school and community. Chapters generally focus on learning about other countries and cultures and participating in various humanitarian efforts. The result is a group of young leaders that have increased global awareness and that also work to make a positive difference in the world. There are more than 200 PTPI chapters worldwide with thousands of members committed to creating Peace through Understanding.

PTPI always welcomes new members to its chapter network in addition to groups of students that would like to join our student chapter program.
