IMPACT: Morocco

May 30 - June 8, 2010

The IMPACT: Morocco delegation is currently full. 

We invite PTPI members and friends ages 19-25 to discover a new culture, to meet new friends and to lend helping hands as we journey through Marrakech and Casablanca.



 

 Experience the Kingdom of Morocco...
and make a positive change in the world!

  Highlights include:

  • Cultural Exchange and Peace through Understanding!  Get to know true Moroccan culture through a multitude of people-to-people activities.
  • Community Service!  You will make an IMPACT by working on a community development project in a small village in the High Atlas Mountains with the High Atlas Foundation.
  • Adventure and Cultural Activities!  Visit the famed Djema el Fnaa of Marrakech.

   Inclusions:

  • International airfare from John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) and return 
  • Sleeping accommodations
  • All transfers to/from airport in Morocco
  • Admissions and fees for all excursions
  • Scheduled activities and meals
  • English-speaking guide

 

Eligibility:

PTPI members and non-members who have completed at least one semester of college (or equivalent life experience) and who will be between the ages of 19-25 during our travel dates are welcome to apply for IMPACT: Morocco. Still 18? Join us for the YG IMPACT Weekend.
 
Registration Process:

Registration is open until February 28, 2010 or until the program is full, and all registration materials are web-based.  A deposit of $400 is required to secure your spot in the delegation. The deposit will apply toward the price of tuition.

Tuition and Fees:


Tuition for the 2010 IMPACT: Morocco is $3,650 for PTPI members ($3,750 for non-members) and is all inclusive, with the exception of the delegate’s airfare to and from our U.S. gateway airport: John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK). 
IMPACT: Morocco tuition is due in full by March 30, 2010.
