Discover a new culture, meet new friends and lend your helping hands as you EXPERIENCE: Peru!
Delegates will explore the depths of Peru's jungle communities in Puerto Maldonado, backpack through indigenous mountain villages along the Lares Trek and marvel at the wonder that is Machu Picchu, all while gaining life skills and perspectives aimed to develop global citizens.

Eligibility: High school students who will be aged 16-18 during our travel dates are welcome to apply for EXPERIENCE: Peru.
Application Process: The application process will close on December 7, 2009, and all application materials are Web-based. Phone interviews will be conducted on a rolling basis, and all delegates will be notified of their status in the program via mail and e-mail by December 20, 2009. If accepted, a payment of at least $1,570.00 is due by January 10, 2010 to secure your spot in the delegation.
Tuition and Fees: Tuition for the 2010 EXPERIENCE: Peru program is $4,710.00 and is all inclusive, with the exception of the delegate's airfare to and from our U.S. gateway city, Atlanta. A $20.00 (for PTPI members) or $40.00 (for non-members) non-refundable application fee is required with each application. This fee does not apply towards the price of tuition should the delegate be accepted into the program, nor is it refundable should they be declined. EXPERIENCE: Peru tuition is due in full by May 1, 2010.
