Student Chapters are membership-based groups that give youth ages 13-18 the opportunity to promote Peace through Understanding in their school or community.
PTPI has more than 2,000 student chapter members in 25 countries working to advance peace and understanding.
Just a few of the ways they have made an impact include:
- raising thousands of dollars to help Japan rebuild after the tsunami
- carrying out 47 community service projects for Global Youth Service Day 2011
- hosting exchange students and refugees in order to learn about new cultures and build new friendships
