Seth's visit came at an opportune time for the Trenton,
New Jersey USA Chapter of People to People. He was
able to attend one of our regularly scheduled meetings
where he met many of the members. President Len Tharney
restructured his agenda for the evening so Seth could
give a presentation to the membership. We left the
meeting appreciating the opportunity that our chapter
had to be the first hosts of a visitor from a chapter
in Ghana.
This was an unprecedented homestay experience
for us. Yes, it was challenging for us at times. However,
the joys exceeded the difficulties. This was emphasized
to us when we received our first e-mail message from
Seth after he had returned home. It was signed, "from
your own son SETH."

Asuah-Gyasi" by Ken and Dee Tillman of the Greater
Trenton Chapter. Seth was a visitor from the PTP Kumasi
Chana Chapter.
Through this homestay, we have realized the PTP
mission to enhance friendships and exchange ideas
through face-to-face direct contact. We have also
experienced different American cultures and discovered
that some cultures were quite distinct from ours.
I was very impressed by the friendly attitude of American
people. We all agree this is the most successful and
worthwhile trip that we have been on in our lives.

a delegation in 2001 visiting several U.S. chapters.
