What is the PTPI Peace Camp?
Peace Camp nurtures the next generation of emerging youth leaders and prepares them to successfully meet the challenges of adulthood and global leadership. The success of the program is based on the competitive selection of participants from around the world, the involvement of devoted student leaders that mentor students individually, and the presentation of innovative curriculum and group activities. In the past, Peace Camp has attracted students from 30 countries. We will review applications from all over the world, choosing 50 participants and 10 alternate participants.

The goal of the program is to create a safe environment where young people of different nationalities and religions freely express their views and experiences. At the same time, they are given an opportunity to learn valuable listening, communication, and conflict management skills that allow participants to develop empathy and understanding for one another. The Peace Camp curriculum contains 18 hours of educational classroom sessions that discuss world issues, religion, cultural diversity, conflict resolution, and other important topics. The peaceful surroundings, the history, and amazing cultural treasures of the host country create an ideal environment for the Peace Camp and its participants to learn from one another and to support each other during the program.

How much does it cost to participate?
