People to People International's Global Youth Forum Humanitarian Conference (GYFHC) strives to immerse participants in cultural, educational and humanitarian activities while engaging them in thoughtful discussions about their role in the world.
The GYFHC is an annual, two-week international program for students aged 16-18. Past destinations include South Africa (2005), Russia (2006) and Poland/Czech Republic (2007).
The 2008 GYFHC will travel to Egypt this coming July. While in Egypt, participants will discover the wonders of the ancient world in unparalleled Cairo and have the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to cruise down the Nile river! Our visits to the Sphinx, pyramids and other historical sites will be only matched by the friendships, understanding and helping hands that will be offered and received along the way. The application process for the 2008 GYFHC is presently closed. Please check back in November of 2008 for an announcement regarding the destination of the 2009 GYFHC.
