AWARD:
The Best Chapter Newsletter Award is a $250.00 monetary award given to a chapter for having the most creative, informative and accurate presentation of information in the form of a chapter newsletter. No more than one (1) recipient of the Best Chapter Newsletter Award may be selected in any one (1) fiscal year (January through December).

CRITERIA:
The award may be presented to a chapter for having the most creative, informative and accurate presentation of information in the form of a chapter newsletter. The newsletter must have at least 3 issues per calendar year. Chapter dues must be paid to PTPI World Headquarters by January 15 to be eligible for this award.

NOMINATION:
Written nominations for the Best Chapter Newsletter Award must be submitted by Council Chairpersons, Chapter Presidents, Chapter members, or members of the Board of Directors or the Board of Trustees. Chapter Presidents and chapter members may submit written nominations for their own newsletters.

SELECTION:
The Awards Committee will determine the recipient of the award among those nominated. The Committee will present them to the Board of Directors for information rather than approval during the June meeting of the Board of Directors. Chapters will not be eligible to receive this award for one fiscal year following receipt.

PRESENTATION:
The Best Chapter Newsletter Award will be presented at the most appropriate time and place following the selection of the recipients. The presentation should reflect the dignity of the award. The Annual Board of Trustees Meeting, the Worldwide Conference or the National or Regional Council meeting are the customary affairs for the presentation. The presentation should be made by the President/CEO of People to People International.

ADMINISTRATION:
Written nominations for the Best Chapter Newsletter Award must be received at People to People International World Headquarters by May 1. Nominations must always be for a newsletter that was distributed in the previous calendar year with at least four (4) issues.
Nominations must include copies of all newsletter issues, and any additional information that may assist the Awards Committee with selection.
