AWARD:
The Chapter Membership Award is a $250.00 monetary award for having the highest percentage increase in members over the past year. No more than two (2) chapters will receive this award each one (1) fiscal year (January through December) based on total membership above or below fifty (50) members. If there is a tie with two (2) or more chapters having the same percentage increase, each chapter will receive the award.

CRITERIA:
The award may be presented to chapters who have the highest percentage increase in members in one calendar year. One award will be presented to chapters with less than fifty (50) members, and one award will be presented to chapters with more than fifty (50) members. Those chapters with less than ten (10) members are not eligible. Chapter dues must be paid to International Headquarters by January 15 to be eligible for this award.

NOMINATION:
Nominations will not be accepted for the Chapter Membership Award. Chapter membership will be monitored by the International Headquarters Office and will be awarded accordingly. At this time, this award will only be presented to U.S. Chapters since their dues are routed through International Headquarters. Chapters may received this award in consecutive years.

SELECTION:
The Awards Committee will determine the recipient of the award among those nominated. The Committee will present them to the Board of Directors for information rather than approval by or during the June meeting of the Board of Directors.

PRESENTATION:
The Chapter Membership Award will be presented at the most appropriate time and place following the selection of the recipients. The presentation should reflect the dignity of the award. The Annual Board of Trustees Meeting, the Worldwide Conference or the National or Regional Council meeting are the customary affairs for the presentation. The presentation should be made by the CEO and/or President of People to People International.

ADMINISTRATION:
Written nominations for the Chapter Membership Award must be received at People to People International Headquarters by May 1st. Nominations should always be for chapters with membership data pertaining to the previous calendar year.
