People to People International Community Chapters are comprised of volunteers who accomplish their goals through a variety of 
ways. Together they:
- Offer programs to learn more about other cultures
- Sponsor special international events
- Host international visitors
- Participate in humanitarian initiatives
- Collaborate with like-minded organizations in their communities
Chapters are the backbone of People to People International, bringing the ideals of global education, understanding and humanitarianism to life at the local level. Chapters have the flexibility to develop their own programs and projects, which are geared to stimulate and motivate members to take pride and ownership in their PTPI Chapter experience.
We are pleased to recognize more than 300 chapters among the PTPI Chapter Network throughout the regions of the Americas, Asia Pacific, Europe and the Middle East/Africa.
