AWARD:
The Student Chapter Membership Award is a $200.00
monetary award for having the highest percentage
increase in members over the past year. Qualifying
student chapters must have at least (5) new members
who are not already alumni of PTPI. No more than
two (2) student chapters will receive this award
in a given fiscal year (January through December).
This award is based on total membership above or
below fifty (50) members. If there is a tie
with two (2) or more student chapters having the
same percentage increase, each student chapter will
receive the award.
CRITERIA:
The award may be presented to student chapters
who have the highest percentage increase in members
in one calendar year. Qualifying student chapters
must have at least five (5) new members who are
not alumni of PTPI. One award will be presented
to chapters with less than fifty (50) members,
and one award will be presented to student chapters
with more than fifty (50) members. Those
student chapters with less than ten (10) members
are not eligible. Chapter dues must be paid to
International Headquarters by January 15 to be
eligible for this award.
NOMINATION:
Nominations will not be accepted for the Student
Chapter Membership Award. Chapter membership will
be monitored by the International Headquarters
Office and will be awarded accordingly. At this
time, this award will only be presented to U.S.
Student Chapters since their dues are routed through
International Headquarters. Student Chapters may
receive this award in consecutive years.
SELECTION:
The Awards Committee will be notified by International
Headquarters Office which student chapters qualify
as the recipient(s) of this award.
PRESENTATION:
The Student Chapter Membership Award will be presented
at the most appropriate time and place following
the selection of the recipients. The Annual Board
of Trustees Meeting, the Worldwide Conference
or the Global Youth Forum are suggested locations
for the presentation. The presentation should
be made by the CEO and/or President of People
to People International.
ADMINISTRATION:
Nominations will not be accepted for the Student
Chapter Membership Award.
Qualifying student chapters will be determined
by People to People International Headquarters
by May 1st. Student Chapter membership data evaluated
will pertain only to the previous calendar year.
